8 Subic underwent a remarkable transformation from a Mediterranean house to an Asian Contemporary home, a project brilliantly executed by Project Architect Dos Manalo of Trilogy PH, Design Architect Ed Ledesma, and Interior Designers Atelier Almario. The journey begins at the entrance, where a beautiful glass door welcomes you, capturing natural light and setting the tone for the house’s new aesthetic. The addition of a wooden carpet outside the glass door introduces an element of drama and elegance.

Inside, the living room reveals itself with an impressive wall adorned with stunning artwork. This space epitomizes the Asian contemporary style, with borrowed views that turn the doors on three sides into frames for the lush outdoor landscape, making nature an integral part of the interior decor.

The dining room is a centerpiece of design, featuring a 12-foot long live edge table surrounded by the most comfortable chairs, inviting both grand dinners and intimate gatherings. The seamless blend of functionality and artistry here reflects the meticulous attention to detail characteristic of the renovation.

The guest room, bathed in natural light, is adorned with beautiful lyrical fabrics that create a soothing ambiance. A picture window offers a perfect spot for reading, making the room a cozy retreat for guests.

The master bedroom is a luxurious sanctuary with silk-upholstered fabric walls. Inspired by two Celadon artworks, these upholstered walls extend to create a unique headboard, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication. The transformation from Mediterranean to Asian contemporary is evident in every corner of this room, making it a serene and stylish haven.

The renovation of 8 Subic stands as a testament to the harmonious blend of Mediterranean origins with Asian contemporary design principles, resulting in a home that is both beautiful and functional. Each space within the house has been thoughtfully redesigned by Dos Manalo of Trilogy PH, Ed Ledesma, and Atelier Almario to create an environment that embraces light, nature, and modern elegance.
