Cici House

Rizal

Cici House is a proposed 5-bedroom home that sits on a 500 square meters lot in a quiet neighborhood in Antipolo City. This architectural endeavor seeks to create a residential haven that weaves together the brutalist strength of concrete with the subtlety of minimalist design principles.

To counterbalance the robustness of the concrete exterior, the facade features rounded vertical louvers strategically placed to add a sense of warmth and softness. These louvers act as sunshades, providing protection from the tropical sunlight, while also offering visual dynamism to the otherwise solid facade. The rounded form of the louvers creates a subtle play of light and shadow, animating the exterior with a gentle rhythm.

Cici House pays homage to the Brutalist architectural movement, with a visually striking facade characterized by raw, exposed concrete surfaces, bold geometric shapes, and a focus on functionality.
