Cici House

Rizal

Cici House is a proposed five-bedroom residence set on a 500-square-meter lot in a serene neighborhood of Antipolo City. This architectural project aspires to craft a residential sanctuary that artfully merges the formidable strength of brutalist concrete with the refined simplicity of minimalist design principles.

The facade of Cici House skillfully balances the robust nature of its concrete exterior with the gentle touch of rounded vertical louvers. These strategically placed louvers not only function as sunshades, offering essential protection from the tropical sunlight, but also introduce a sense of warmth and softness to the facade. Their rounded form creates a dynamic play of light and shadow, animating the otherwise solid surface with a subtle yet captivating rhythm.

Paying homage to the Brutalist architectural movement, Cici House is marked by its raw, exposed concrete surfaces, bold geometric forms, and a pronounced emphasis on functionality. The design captures the essence of Brutalism while incorporating thoughtful details that enhance both its aesthetic appeal and practical utility, making Cici House a striking and harmonious addition to its tranquil surroundings.
